Philosophy of care

Dr. Sayeh Beheshti provides thoughtful, integrative psychiatric care that honors the full complexity of each person’s life. She believes healing begins with a deep understanding of one’s story — emotional, biological, psychological, cultural, and spiritual.

Her approach combines neuroscience, relational depth, trauma-informed care, and today’s most advanced interventions, including ExoMind TMS, Spravato, and FDA-authorized digital therapeutics. Treatment is always collaborative and centered around the whole person.

Personal Background

Born in the Middle East and raised in California, Dr. Beheshti brings a rich, multicultural, and trauma-informed perspective to her clinical work. She integrates her background in science, spirituality, motherhood, and writing into a grounded, compassionate approach to care.

She received her medical degree from UC Irvine School of Medicine, where she was awarded Distinction in the Humanities and Arts for her contributions to reflective writing. As a working mother and lifelong writer, she approaches her patients with authenticity, curiosity, and deep respect for their lived experience.

Integrative & Interventional Psychiatry

Dr. Beheshti specializes in treating depression, anxiety, trauma, attention challenges, mood instability, and life transitions. She also supports highly functioning individuals seeking clarity, emotional balance, or deeper personal meaning.

Her integrative approach blends:

  • Relational and depth-oriented psychotherapy

  • Medication management

  • Mind–body practices

  • ExoMind TMS (precision, next-generation neuromodulation)

  • Spravato (esketamine) therapy for treatment-resistant depression

  • FDA-authorized digital therapeutics (Rejoyn PDT & EndeavorRx)

  • Neuropsychological testing through Dr. Nina Rodd, Ph.D.

Patients often come to her after years of limited progress with medications alone; her interventional approach offers new pathways to healing and vitality.
